(presently not accepting new intakes)

Wai Ming has been working as an occupational therapist with infants, children and adolescents with special needs for more than 20 years both locally as well as overseas in Australia, India, and Cambodia. He has worked in various settings in special schools, early intervention centres and public hospitals and with a wide range of conditions including children and adolescents with autism, cerebral palsy, attention deficit and hyperactivity, dyspraxia, sensory integration dysfunction, and developmental delays.

Wai Ming graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology with National University of Singapore and also a Bachelor of Science with honours in Occupational Therapy from Australia. He is certified in the use of Pediatrics Neurodevelopmental Therapy (NDT). In addition, he has attended numerous trainings and workshops in Sensory Integration, using the Floortime approach and craniosacral therapy.

His clinical area of interest is in the use of sensory integration, NDT and stories to work with children and teens with behavioural regulation, attention issues, social and movement based difficulties. Apart from his work, he is also keen in exploring the use of movement and mindfulness as basis for well-being and personal development for both children and parents.

He enjoys the stillness of reading a good book as well as the rigours of hiking and cycling in nature.

Wai Ming provides therapy in English.
